Newbies, let’s look how my last week’s recommendations turned out.

In this post, MDXO.OB was my pick of the week. It was trading at around $0.71 per share when I alerted my readers. The price per share jumped to $0.91 on Friday. That was an easy and fast profit of more than 26% on your investment. Congratulations to all the newbies who bought the stock in time.

To those who were not able to take advantage of this gold mine (literally), I hope you did manage to get hold of my stock pick for august 7th. In that article, I gave Jim Cramer’s top 5 reasons to buy shares of Citigroup. The shares were trading at $4.04 after-hours. Guess what? On Friday the shares of Citigroup went to a high of $4.24 per share. A profit of $0.20 per share is not bad for a day’s trading. The price did go down to $3.85 per share, but that is understandable because investors were taking their profits.
